Jon Matthews is a devout Christian conservative. His beliefs lie and are loyal to those who espouse and support conservatism and adherence to maintaining core principles established by our forefathers. These principles are those of belief in a Judeo-Christian God, a mandatory adherence to moral law based on Biblical teachings, and personal responsibility and accountability for one's actions.

Chairman Matthews currently resides in Bee Branch, Arkansas and is widowed and has a large family of 8 children, 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Chairman Matthews is a present volunteer, Chairman, Arkansas Conservative Party, and previously, Chairman, California Conservative Party.
