Next follows is a 10-point list of conservative principles required to genuinely be called a “Conservative” citizen.
- Man is unique
Humankind is a creature defined by our Creator, not government.
- Life Begins at Conception and Ends at Natural Death
Human life is nature’s continuum which begins at fertilization and is not interrupted until natural death.
- Marriage is Between One Man and One Woman
Same-sex “marriage” defies a principal feature of marriage which is procreation, thus same-sex marriage is a nullity.
- Children are under parental control until their age of maturity.
A parent-child relationship is the unique and legal bond between them. This relationship is fundamental to a child’s development and shapes their personality, behavior, and future relationships.
- American Exceptionalism
America is a country of a distinguished founding, unique historical experience and has a grand path to the future. It has contributed more to the political, economic and financial betterment of the human condition than any previous collection of nations.
- Immigration
Nations have borders which require immigration policies that are enforceable, pass Constitutional muster and do not reward or encourage lawlessness.
- U. S. Constitution and Bill of Rights is the literal Supreme Law
Our rights are natural rights and are given to us by our Creator that no man can take away. All laws infringing on these rights are unlawful.
- Personal Wealth
The accumulation of all forms of personal wealth, absent crime, is an unalienable right that can only be diminished by others to whom permission has been legally granted by its owner.
9. The Principle of Subsidiarity
Government works best at the local level. The closer the control of government is to the people, the more interest and control citizens hold in political proceedings and operations.
10. There is nothing in the Constitution about political parties
Elections are the constitutional province of the state. This reservation of election management to the states also gives the state great power to manufacture through implied regulations on how a political party operates. Political parties must be removed from the ballot line, and stop state administered election primaries which are a private function of the political party.
